Portrait & Event Photography – Terms of Service (UK)

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to all portrait and event photography services provided by
Redwood Creative, operated by Johannes Redwood (“the Photographer”). By booking any service,
the Client agrees to these Terms.
1. Services Provided
The Photographer provides portrait and event photography as agreed in writing, including the date,
time, location and scope of the Services.
Portrait Sessions:
May include posing guidance, outfit changes, multiple locations, and a pre-agreed number of edited
images.
Event Photography:
May include documentary coverage, group photographs, candid images, scheduled moments or
pre-requested shots.
All deliverables will be confirmed in advance.
2. Fees, Deposits & Payments
All fees are confirmed in writing prior to booking. A non-refundable deposit may be required to
secure the date. Final balances must be paid by the invoice due date.
3. Cancellations & Postponements
Portrait Sessions:
- More than 7 days’ notice: Deposit retained.
- 48 hours – 7 days: 50% fee.
- Less than 48 hours: 100% fee.
Event Photography:
- More than 30 days: Deposit retained.
- 30 – 14 days: 50% remaining balance.
- 14 – 7 days: 75% remaining balance.- Less than 7 days: 100% fee.
If the Photographer cannot fulfil the booking, they will offer a new date or refund all monies paid.
4. Copyright & Image Usage
Redwood Creative retains full copyright. The Client receives a licence for personal or agreed
commercial use.
5. Client Responsibilities
Portrait Clients: arrive prepared; supervise children/pets.
Event Clients: provide schedules; grant access; obtain permissions.
6. Delivery of Images
Images are delivered digitally. RAW files not supplied unless agreed.
7. Editing & Retouching
Standard editing is included. Advanced edits may incur extra charges.
8. Data Protection (UK GDPR)
Personal data is processed per UK GDPR.
9. Liability & Insurance
Liability is limited to fees paid.
10. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for delays beyond control.
11. Governing Law
England and Wales.
12. Entire Agreement
These Terms form the full agreement.
